A7068 Self-Adhesive PTFE Coated Glass Fabric is a composite material consisting of a woven glass-fibre substrate impregnated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and coated with a pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive. This construction delivers a unique combination of mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and a smooth, non-stick surface.

With a nominal thickness of 6 Thou (138 µm), this grade provides excellent release properties, a broad operating temperature range from -73°C to 260°C, and conformability for application to various surfaces. Sourced through Dotmar, it is available in standard roll widths and can be supplied as custom slit rolls to meet specific fabrication requirements.

Key Features

  • Woven glass-fibre substrate for high tensile strength and dimensional stability
  • PTFE coating provides a durable, low-friction, non-stick surface
  • Silicone adhesive system for high-temperature pressure-sensitive bonding
  • Continuous operating temperature range from -73°C to 260°C
  • Supplied in 1000mm and 1500mm wide rolls, with custom slit widths available

This self-adhesive PTFE coated glass fabric is commonly used as a release surface on heat-sealing bars, L-sealers, and blister-packaging equipment. It is also applied as a non-stick liner on chutes, hoppers, and guide rails to reduce friction and product build-up. Typical industries include packaging, food processing, plastics fabrication, and general industrial maintenance where a durable, high-temperature release tape is required.
