Polystone Pg100 is a premium-grade HDPE (high-density polyethylene) developed for industrial tank fabrication, pipe systems and chemically aggressive applications. It combines high impact strength with outstanding environmental stress crack resistance, making it a reliable choice for long-term service in severe conditions.

This material maintains its mechanical properties across a continuous service temperature range from -50 °C to 80 °C, with a tensile strength of 24 MPa and a very low coefficient of friction of 0.15. Its high chemical resistance ensures compatibility with a wide variety of acids, alkalis and solvents, while the linear thermal expansion coefficient of 150–230 × 10⁻⁶ K⁻¹ allows predictable dimensional change in thermal cycling.

Supplied by Dotmar in rod and sheet formats, Polystone Pg100 is readily machinable and weldable using standard thermoplastic fabrication techniques. Backed by Dotmar’s technical support and extensive inventory, it provides engineers and fabricators with a consistent, high-quality material for critical projects.

Key Features

  • Continuous service temperature from -50 °C to 80 °C
  • Tensile strength of 24 MPa
  • Thermal expansion coefficient of 150–230 × 10⁻⁶ K⁻¹
  • Low coefficient of friction of 0.15
