Ertalon 4.6 is an engineering plastic based on polyamide 46 (PA46), a grade of nylon that bridges the performance gap between standard nylons and higher-cost specialty polymers. It is characterised by its superior thermal stability and mechanical property retention at elevated temperatures, outperforming many conventional nylons, acetal, and PET materials in demanding applications.
Dotmar supplies Ertalon 4.6 as machined and fabricated components, backed by technical expertise and reliable stock availability. Its combination of high tensile strength, low thermal expansion, and consistent friction behaviour makes it a dependable choice for precision parts operating in extreme environments.
